Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 3rd November, 2017 at the death of Dr. Mir Akramuzzaman, veteran professor of the Physics Department in Jahangirnagar University and noted academician.

In the message of condolence, Acting Ameer stated that, the nation lost a great academician at the demise of Dr. Mir Akramuzzaman. Throughout his life, he has tried his level best utilizing his talent and experiences to produce honest citizens with moral characters. He was a favourite figure to his students and working fellows.

May Allah accept all his noble deeds to bless him with Jannah, saying this Acting Ameer extended his sympathy to his mournful families and prayed so that they can bear the shock of losing their dearest person.”
