Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former member of the Parliament Professor Mujibur Rahman has issued the following statement on 3rd November, 2017 condemning the massive terrorist attack in New York city of the United States on 31st October that left 8 innocent citizens killed and wounded 13 others.

“Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami always condemns all kinds of terrorist attacks, wherever it takes place. Jamaat always takes stance against terrorism.

We hope that the government of the United States of America will try the offender according to the law. Islam and Muslims have no connection with such terrorist attack. There is no room for terrorism in Islam.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami will make a broad base unity and will tackle terrorism nationally and internationally.

We are extending our deep sympathy and support to the victim families who have lost their members in this terror attack.”
