Central Publicity Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Professor Md. Tasnim Alam has issued the following statement on 27th October, 2017 protesting and gainsaying the confusing information published in a report titled “প্রকাশ্যে জামায়াতের দ্বন্দ্ব”(Jamaat’s internal feud exposed) in daily Amader Shomoy. 

“The report which has been published about the internal condition of Jamaat-e-Islami in the Daily Amader Shomoy on 27th October is completely baseless. Inside Jamaat-e-Islami there is no section called reformist. The internal discussion which is going on inside Jamaat-e-Islami centring the upcoming election, the report has termed that as a feud which is ill-motivated and intentional. Daily Amader Shomoy has published such report just to create confusion among the peoples.

Islami Chhatrashibir is a student organization so they have no role to play in selecting candidates of Jamaat-e-Islami for the national election. The concerned reporter of Amader Shomoy has published such untrue report as he has no vivid idea about the organizational structure of Jamaat-e-Islami.

I am urging the concerned authorities of Daily Amader Shomoy to be refrained from publishing such confusing report against Jamaat-e-Islami and expecting that they would publish this rejoinder properly to minimize the public confusion.”
