As a part of the that conspiracy, the authority has arrested Jamaat Ameer Maqbul Ahmad, Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar and Secretary General Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and other leaders and caused them sufferings in the name of police remand. But such torture and repression cannot halt the advancement of Islam and the history testified that fact. He also prayed for the release and long life of the aged Jamaat leaders.

As a part of their plot to annihilate the opposition forces, the authority filed thousands of false cases against the opposition men and kept them imprisoned for years.
