Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmad has issued the following message of condolence on 5th October, 2017 at the death of veteran lawyer, former president of Dhaka Lawyers Association Advocate Taslim Uddin Mohammad Akbar (T M Akbar).

“Late Advocate T M Akbar died today during the hearing of Zia Charitable Trust graft case while he was discharging duties today as one of the defence counsel of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. He died of brain hem rage which is really painful. The nation lost a talented, experienced and qualified lawyer at his demise.

Ameer-e-Jamaat prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and extended deep sympathy to his mournful families. He also prayed to Allah so that they can bear the shock of losing him.”
