Jamaat-e-Islami declares nationwide demonstration on Thursday protesting Israeli brutalities

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Secretary General Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has issued the following statement on 26th July, 2017 declaring nationwide peaceful demonstration on 27th July, Thursday protesting against the Israeli decision to obstruct Muslims entering into the Al Aqsa Mosque and simultaneously protesting against the Israeli security forces brutal attacks that killed and injured many innocent Muslims.

“We have no word to condemn Israeli authority’s barbaric activities as they are obstructing the Muslims to enter into the Al Aqsa Mosque, the first Qibla of the Muslims. We are also severely condemning the recent brutal attacks of the Israeli security forces that killed and injured many innocent Muslims.

The Israeli occupation authority has violated the UN declared human rights charter by obstructing Muslims to get into the Al Aqsa Mosque. Muslims around the world are getting united to protest the Israeli heinous and brutal activities. It is the obligation of the Muslims to free the Al Aqsa from the unlawful occupation of the Jews. I hope that the Muslims would come forward to discharge this fundamental duty.

On behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, I am declaring nationwide peaceful demonstration on 27th July, Thursday protesting against the Israeli obstruction against the Muslims to enter into the Al Aqsa Mosque and also protesting against the Israeli brutal attacks that killed and injured many innocent Muslims.

I am urging all the wings and front organizations of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami to observe the declared peaceful demonstrations and expecting the kind assistance of the fellow citizens to make the program successful.”
