Nayeb-e-Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar has issued the following statement on 20th June, 2017 protesting and condemning the brutal murder of two Bangladeshi civilians namely Sohel Rana and Harun by Indian BSF at the Maheshpur border of the Jhinaidah district.

"Indian BSF has been continuously murdering the innocent unarmed Bangladeshi civilians at the border area. But Bangladesh government could not take any effective step to bring an end to this brutalities.

After murdering the Bangladeshi civilians, Indian BSF has taken the deadbodies in their Kumarkhali camp. Indian BSF is relentlessly murdering the innocent Bangladeshi citizens due to submissive foreign policy of the Bangladesh government. Bangladesh authority did not protest against such mass killings of the Indian BSF rather they are tolerating this inhuman acts silently.

I am urging the Bangladesh government to take effective steps to stop the unjust and brutal murders of Bangladeshi civilians by Indian BSF immediately.
