Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Maqbul Ahmad has issued the following statement on 7th June, 2017 seeking quick recovery of Hefajat-e-Islam Ameer, Shaikhul Islam Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi.

We are deeply concerned and worried as Hefajat-e-Islam Ameer, the master oof numerous religious scholar, Shaikhul Islam Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi has been sick for several days.

He is the guardian of the country's religious community. Amidst the ongoing critical condition, he has been issuing guidelines and instructions to the countrymen. We are sincerely praying for his quick recovery and urging the countrymen to offer prayers to Almighty Allah for his recovery.
