Jamaat activists have to launch a successful movement based on the participation of the general people in order to restore caretaker government system and subsequently the government will be made compelled to step down, insha Allah.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman said this while virtually addressing a workers’ conference organized by Kurigram district Jamaat-e-Islami. District Ameer Abdul Matin Faruqee presided over the program which was hosted by district secretary Maulana Nizam Uddin.
Acting Ameer urged the Jamaat activists to upgrade their standard and also to convey the message of the Quran in all households. He also instructed Jamaat workers to dedicate themselves for ensuring the public welfare.
He said, the government has kept Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, secretary general and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar and many other leaders and activists in connection with false and politically motivated cases for many days. He demands immediate release of all those detainees.
Addressing the program as the special guest, Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General and Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s coordinator Maulana Abdul Halim said, 2023 is the year of struggle and movement. Jamaat will not give up until the demands of restoring caretaker government is met. He called upon the Jamaat workers as qualified and dynamic to ensure standard social service and a healthy family.
Among others, Jamaat’s working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, regional team member Maulana Abdul Khaleq, Kurigram district lawyer’s association’s former president Advocate Yasin Ali Sarkar and Roumari Upazila Jamaat Ameer Mostafizur Rahman addressed the program.
