Jamaat-e-Islami has been working for restoring public rights, says Acting Ameer

-Professor Mujibur Rahman

To secure human rights is an Ibadah. The people of the country are deprived of all kinds of rights. To ensure people’s rights, a people’s government should be established through a free, fair, and credible election under the caretaker government. Jamaat-e-Islami has been struggling to restore public rights. To fulfill the target, Jamaat activists have to play a pivotal role.

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman said this while addressing a workers’ conference organized by Kushtia district Jamaat-e-Islami on 3rd June. District Ameer Professor Maulana Abul Hashem presided over the program which was hosted by district Secretary Professor Suzauddin Joardar.

Addressing the program, special guest Mobarak Hossain said the organization which commenced its journey in May of 1979 with a workers’ conference of thousand workers, had made a significant advancement. But still, a long way to go. We have to achieve due success based on welfare activities.

AKM Ali Mohsin said, if we work properly then Deen will be established in this country in exchange for the blood of martyrs. Among others, central Majlish-e-Shura member Professor Forhad Hossain, Shahjahan Ali Molla, district Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdul Gafur, Assistant Secretary Sohrab Uddin, and Khairul Islam Robin addressed the program.
