Thakurgaon district’s workers’ conference held

Islamic state to be established by creating suitable manpower, says Acting Ameer

Thakurgaon district Jamaat-e-Islami organized a workers’ conference on 25th May at 3 pm. District Ameer Maulana Abdul Hakim presided over the conference which was hosted by Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila’s former Vice chairman and district Jamaat Secretary Md. Alamgir Hossain. organized by Thakurgaon district Jamaat-e-Islami. Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former MP Professor Mujib addressed the conference as the chief guest.

Acting Ameer stated that votes should not be cast for those who oppose the rules of Allah and maintained an anti-Islamic system in society. We have to establish an Islamic state in Bangladesh by producing suitable people in society and simultaneously by creating a public impression. He claimed that it is very normal that anti-Islamic forces to hit us or to hit or kill us. Despite that, we have to continue the Islamic movement by having full confidence in Allah. We have to be on the path of Islam by sacrificing our wealth and lives. We have to promote Salam at all levels and feed the helpless people.

Addressing the conference as the special guest, Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Haim said, the workers should concentrate on self-formation and elevation of standards. They have to play a pivotal role in building families and society. He also said that we have to continue the movement against the incumbent government to attain the demand of the caretaker government. All manpower of Jamaat-e-Islami should play an active role in the movement as well as in the upcoming election.

Among others, Jamaat’s central working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, former central president of Islami Chhatrashibir Md. Delwar Hossain, Panchagar district’s former Ameer Maulana Abdul Khaleq, Thakurgaon district’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Belal Uddin Prodhan, Chhatrashibir Thakurgaon city President Adiul Islam and district President Abu Sufian spoke on the occasion.
