Among the 22 dead victims, 18 were Bangladeshi citizens. 16 Bangladeshi pilgrims are also undergoing treatment in local hospitals. The rest of the casualties are from various countries of the world. I am expressing deep shock over the accident and the subsequent casualties.

I am praying to Allah for accepting all the deceased victims as martyrs and extending sympathy to their mournful families. I am also praying to Allah seeking quick recovery of the injured. Besides, I am urging the concerned authorities to take effective measures for bringing the dead bodies back to Bangladesh and also for ensuring proper treatment of the injured.
