Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman said, it is the directives of Almighty Allah to become His servant, not to consider anyone as His partner and to attain the rights of the relatives. A Muslim’s assignment is to bring people out of the servitude of other human being and also to make them prepared to act as the servant of Allah only. From such understanding, Jamaat-e-Islami has been working to establish the rule of Allah in this country.
He said this while addressing a conference of the Associate Members held in Gaibandha district. District Ameer Abdul Karim Sarkar presided over the conference which was hosted by district secretary Maulana Zahurul Haq Sarkar. Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim, central working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, Gaibandha district Jamaat’s former Ameer Dr. Abdur Rahim Sarkar, district Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdul Wares and others were present on the occasion.
He said, the government designed election of understanding will never attain acceptance. The leaders, MPs of Jamaat-e-Islami in previous occasions have worked to build a society in accordance with the teaching and guidance of Islam. To refrain Jamaat leaders from doing such noble jobs, the government is trying to convict them hurriedly in order to make the disqualified for taking part in election.
He urged the associate members to read Quran and Sunnah regularly and to spend for the sake of Islamic movement sincerely. Acting Ameer also put emphasis on attending organizational meetings and to convey the message of Islam among the people of the society. He called them to feeding people, to greet others and to increase the voluntary prayers. He insisted to nurture a desire for martyrdom in all aspects.
Maulana Abdul Halim said, the present government has destroyed all sectors. They inserted harmful elements in the curriculum which will bring no positive input at all. He urged the government to incorporate religious educations in the syllabus. He said, it is the duty and obligation of the Muslim to play effective roles to establish Islam. But many of us have forgot the responsibility. The associate members should play pro-active role in removing the fascist forces, he added.
