Courtesy meeting between Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and High Commissioner of Pakistan Mr. Imran Haider held

On 09 September (Tuesday) at 11:00 a.m., the Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, held a courtesy meeting and exchange of views with the Honourable High Commissioner of Pakistan to Bangladesh, Mr. Imran Haider, at his office in Bashundhara, Dhaka. Accompanying him was Mr. Kamran Dhangal, Political Counsellor of the Pakistan High Commission. The meeting was conducted in a very cordial atmosphere.

During the discussion, wide range of issues of mutual interest between Bangladesh and Pakistan were openly discussed, and both sides expressed optimism that the friendly relations between the two countries would be further strengthened in the future.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Nayeb-e-Ameer and former Member of Parliament Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Central Publicity and Media Department Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair, and Jamaat Ameer’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan were also present at the meeting.
