At least 41 people were killed and dozens of others were killed in an explosion in a coal mine in Turkey's northern Bartin province on Friday. Some 110 people were working in the mine when the blast occurred 300 meter below the surface.

We are deeply shocked at the death and injury of a large number of people in the explosion. We fully share the grief, express our condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, to the entire Turkish people, and wish recovery to the victims.

From the core of our hearts, we pray to the Almighty Allah Rabbul-Izzat accept those believers killed in the explosions as Shahids. We also pray to Allah SWT for the early recovery of those who were injured in the explosion. May Allah SWT grant strengths and resilience upon the Turkish government to stand by the families of the victims and to recover from the huge loss caused by the explosion! Ameen!
