Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Maqbul Ahmad has issued the following statement on 11th December, 2016 expressing deep shock and condolence as 38 peoples killed and 155 peoples became injured as a car blast and suicide bomb attacks hit Turkish city of Istanbul.  

We are in deep mourn as two bomb blasts hit Istanbul city of Turkey which left at least 38 peoples killed and wounded 155 peoples more.    

Such terror attacks are always inhuman and set a threat to the democracy, rule of law and the Islamic values. The attackers are the enemy of the humanity. We hope the government and peoples of brotherly nation of Turkey will be able to overcome the huge loss shortly.    

I am praying for the salvation of the departed souls who have been killed in these brutal terror attacks. I am also extending my deep sympathy to their mournful families, injury victims and also to people and the government of Turkey. I am also praying for the quick recovery of the injured peoples.
