Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has issued the following statement on 30th December, 2023 congratulating Ruhul Amin Gazi for being elected as president and Kader Gani Chowdhury as secretary and their panel in all 19 posts in Bangladesh Federal Journalist Union (BFUJ) election.

While, the nation is crossing a critical time, in such a period, Ruhul Amin Gazi and Kader Gani Chowdhury led panel secured victories in BFUJ election and I am appreciating the journalist community in this regard. These victories will pave the way for the journalist communities to play effective roles in the ongoing anti-fascist movement.

I am wishing their good health and long lives. May Almighty Allah increase their qualities so that they can serve the journalist community and the people as a whole and simultaneously can play pivotal role in the people’s movement.
