Members must play pivotal role for protecting human rights, says Maulana Abdul Halim

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim said, our members must play pivotal role in spreading Islamic messages and sermons and also for protecting human rights. As a member, we have to improve our lifestyle according to the oath.

Maulana Abdul Halim said this while addressing a workshop of the Jamaat members organized by Ishwardi Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami. Upazila Ameer Dr. Nuruzzaman Pramanik presided over the program. Among others, Jamaat’s central Majlish-e-Shura member Professor Nazrul Islam, Pabna district Ameer Professor Abu Taleb Mondol, district working committee member Maulana Abdus Shakur and Maulana Golam Rabbani Khan Jubayer addressed the workshop.

Maulana Abdul Halim further said, the members have to maintain a clear mind with good intention in context of faith and belief. They have to attain closeness to Almighty Allah by performing voluntary prayers. We have to compete in the issue of sacrifice and dedication. Referring the country’s political condition, he claimed whatever decision will be taken by our organization against the oppressor regime, we have to be prepared for it.
