The government is mulling to hold next election under its administration in order to launch a one party Bakshal rule. But we want to affirm that next parliamentary election must be held under a caretaker government.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum has said this while addressing a workers’ conference organized by Bogra west organizational district on 22nd July, Saturday. District Ameer and Bogra region team member Principal Maulana Abdul Haq presided over the program which was hosted by district secretary Monjurul Islam Raju.

Maulana Masum said, the incumbent tyrannical government has politicized all state institutions and apparatus. They have closed the door of justice. Under the current regime, Islam, Islamic institutions, Islamic personalities and religious scholars are being harassed mercilessly. They are destroyed Islamic tradition and culture and misleading the next generation by imposing multiple ill-cultures.

He urged the party activists to build themselves as ideal worker of Islamic movement and also to study the holy Quran and Hadith sincerely. He called them upon to beautify the character and also to comply all rules and regulations of Islam properly. An activist of the movement should keep similarity between his words and works. Family members are also to be diverted toward Islamic movement. Family meeting should be held on regular basis to motivate the family members according to the teachings and guidance of Islam.

Addressing the program as the special guest Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General and Bogra region’s coordinator Maulana Abdul Halim said, we have recently lost our leader, former district Ameer of Satkhira and former MP Principal Maulana Abdul Khaleq Mondol. He did not make any compromise with the tyrants and preferred to attain Allah’s satisfaction instead. May Allah accept him as a martyr. Despite all the tortures and repression, he was firm on the path of the Islamic movement till his last breath. 9 of our great leaders including former Jamaat Ameer had set the example of highest sacrifice of martyrdom. So, we have to continue the same legacy. We should play strong role to establish Islam on this earth through dedication and sacrifice.

Jamaat’s central executive committee member Principal Md. Shahabuddin said, we have to elevate our quality and standard to build just society. Our movement, actually is an effort to apply the ideology of the Prophet (peace be upon Him). So, we have to engage people of all classes with this movement.

Among others, Bogra east district Ameer Professor Nazimuddin, Bogra city Ameer Principal Maulana Abidur Rahman Sohel, Bogra city Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Alamgir Hossain, district Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Abdul Hakim and Maulana Momtaz Uddin, Principal Maulana Tayeb Ali, and Bogra west district Chhatrashibir president Rokonuzzaman addressed the program.
