The government has made the entire electoral system a farce by casting votes during nights instead of the scheduled date and also by creating a one-sided space for a particular party. So, people’s voting rights have been hijacked. So, the people must come forward to preserve their own rights. We have to understand that the caretaker government system is the safeguard for protecting voting rights.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s central executive committee member and Jessore-Kushtia region’s coordinator Mobarak Hossain said this while addressing a leadership conference organized by Maheshpur Upazila under Jhinaidah district on 24th June, Saturday.

He further said, the government wanted to eliminate Jamaat-e-Islami by severe torture and repression. But Almighty Allah made such effort failed. Jamaat-e-Islami rather became a stronger party. Last 10th June’s rally is its biggest evidence. Watching our success, new conspiracies and plots have begun. We have to be concerned about those conspiracies and have to continue our just efforts having full trust upon Allah.

Addressing the conference as the special guest, Jhinaidah district Jamaat Ameer Ali Azam Mohammad Abubakar said, the nation is confined by a tyrant ruler. To get rid of such autocracy, we should prepare ourselves to offer the maximum sacrifice.

Among others, Jhinaidah district Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Matiar Rahman, Secretary Abdul Awal and Assistant Secretary Abdul Hie addressed the program. Maheshpur Upazila Jamaat Ameer Faruq Ahmed presided over the conference.
