Hamidur Rahman Azad scolds Hasanul Haq Inu for his false remark against Jamaat-e-Islami
Saturday, 20th August, 2016

Central Executive Committee member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Hamidur Rahman Azad has issued the following statement on 20th August, 2016 protesting the false address of the President of JSD, faction Hasanul Haq Inu which he has delivered in a press conference arranged by the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi implicating Jamaat-e-Islami with the terrorism.

“The address of the JSD factional President Hasanul Haq Inu in which he implicated Jamaat-e-Islami with the terrorism is completely false.

Responding to Mr. Inu’s address, I want to clarify that Jamaat has no connection with the criminals. No question is raised at all about the alleged link of Jamaat-e-Islami with the acts of terror. The countrymen are well informed that immediate after the independence, Mr. Inu and his gang founded armed revolutionary force named ‘Gana Bahini’ and killed thousands of people by creating nationwide mayhem and anarchy. They had introduced the culture of secret killing in this country.

They had widened the way for murdering democracy through their strategy of destabilizing the country. In now days they have changed their face and grabbed the state power using the Awami League’s umbrella. And now they are trying to misguide the people by making false address against Jamaat-e-Islami. Actually they are the founder of terrorism in the Bangladeshi politics. So it is unjustified for them to pretend and also to make some show-off stance against terrorism.

JSD still could not come out of the black whole of terrorism, murder and violence which they had launched immediate after the independence of this country. Their frequent provocative and terror based statements are the glaring example of their pro-terrorism stance. Due to such reckless steps, the party is at the verge of extinction and now often they are making some irrational remarks. The people do not believe their comments and statements at all.

Lastly, I am urging Hasanul Haq Inu, the factional President of JSD to be refrained from delivering false and baseless statement implicating Jamaat-e-Islami.”
