Mia Ghulam Parwar urges Information minister to stop dirty politics against Jamaat-e-Islami
Thursday, 21st July, 2016
Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar has issued the following statement on 21st July, 2016 protesting the remark of the Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu which he has made in the talk show program namely ‘News Hour’ of the private satellite television channel ATN News saying that ‘Jamaat is destroying the tradition and Muslims rituals which have been observing in this country for thousands of years.
“The leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami are reciting holy Quran and Hadith and conveying the peaceful message of Islam to the countrymen. Mr. Inu’s remark is fully ridiculous. He is making such comment just to confuse and misguide the countrymen.
Main philosophy of Mr. Inu is communism. The doctrine of communism defines religion as Afim. It is not clear to us why Mr. Inu started talking about religion suddenly. Jamaat never misuses religion. Rather, those peoples are misusing religion who do not have proper belief and trust on religion. Mr. Inu and people like him are relentlessly trying to destroy the thousand year long tradition and Muslims rituals of this country. I am condemning such confusing statement of Mr. Inu about religion.
Jamaat never works to create division among the Muslims. Rather it is Mr, Inu and peoples like him who are dividing the people in order to make the office permanent. The people are well concerned about them and they would make a stern reply if they are given proper chance to cast votes.
ATN news did not disclose the speaker whose video has been telecasted. Such hide and seek approach raised question among the people, whether ATN News, itself has concocted this video in order to mislead the people. Jamaat-e-Islami has no relation with the video. I am urging Mr. Inu to stop such dirty politics immediately.”
