Hearing on the application demanding bail for Ramadan completed. Professor Golam Azam thinks, this Ramadan is his last Ramadan.

Professor Golam Azam’s Advocate Barrister Abdur Razzaq demanded bail in favour of him during Ramadan and Barrister Razzaq said, “Professsor Golam Azam is ninety years old. He thought that it is his last Ramadan. In the last stage, he wants to spend his time with the members of his family and perform his religious functions properly. He wants to say Tarabih prayer. He wants to sit for I’tikaf in the last ten days. He spent the last days by I’tikaf in every Ramadan from 1978 except 1992 and 1992 is also impossible because he was in Jail”.
Barrister Abdur Rzzaq gave his argument supporting the bail application. Prosecutor Ziad al-Malum opposed the bail application and mentioned that many people were unable to solemnize the activities of religion because of the torture of Golam Azam so bail can never be granted. 
He is under treatment of the highest hospital of the country. The case is continuting against him. No rule is prevalent to allow bail in this stage and the ICT do not contain any provision as to bail”.
After the hearing of the both the party, the chairman of the tribunal said, “order will be given on Wednesday”.
