Tahmina Akhter, wife of Barrister Arman demands her husband back before Eid-ul-Azha
Saturday, 10 September 2016

Tahmina Akhter, the wife of abducted lawyer Barrister Mir Ahmad Bin Quasem Arman has issued the following statement demanding her husband back before the ensuing occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

“Some plain cloth personnel claiming themselves as law enforcers had picked up my husband Barrister Mir Ahmad Bin Quasem Arman from our residence on last 9th August. Since that day, my two little kids have been crying for their father all time. One month has been elapsed, yet I did not get my husband back yet. Holy Eid-ul-Azha is knocking at our door. My two kids of 4 and 3 years respectively, have been crying for their father and waiting for his return.

If my husband commits any crime, he should be brought to the justice. I clearly know that my husband did not commit any crime. He had been picked up and kept confined unlawfully. As a result, we are deprived from his company.

I hope that the concerned authorities will bring him back to us before the Eid-ul-Azha and will let us observe this religious occasion altogether.”
