Khandaker Ayesha urges authority to bring her son Barrister Arman back before Eid-ul-Azha
Saturday, 10 September 2016

Khandaker Ayesha Khatun, Wife of Jamaat’s former central Executive Committee member Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali and the mother of Barrister Mir Ahmad Bin Quasem Arman has issued the following statement on 10th September, 2016 drawing the kind attention of the honorable Prime Minister for bringing her son Barrister Back to his family immediately.

“We the entire families are passing days miserably amid severe tension and concern for Barrister Ahmad Bin Quasem Arman. Some plain cloth personnel claiming themselves as law enforcers had picked up my youngest son Barrister Arman from his residence forcefully on last 9th August. Since them a month has been elapsed, still we know nothing about his whereabouts. We are going to experience holy occasion Eid-ul-Azha on next 13th September. Under the circumstances, with deep eagerness we are waiting for his return.

My husband, Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali could not meet his son Barrister Arman even for the last time. It was the last desire of Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali that his youngest son, Barrister Arman would lead his funeral. But that desire also remained unfulfilled.

Barrister Arman is a lawful citizen of the country and he is a regular practitioner of the Apex court. It is the duty and obligation of the law enforcement agencies to find out the abductors, or to return him to his family or to produce him before the court. But instead of doing that duty, they are foiling the citizen rights. In this backdrop, with a sadden mind, we are drawing the kind attention of the honorable Prime Minister for taking effective measures to bring back Barrister Arman to his family.

In one side, I am in deep mourn losing my husband Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali, on the other; I am suffering from deep sorrows as I am not getting my son yet. These two shocks are making me sick severely. Wife of Arman and their kids are eagerly waiting for him. Our family is far away from Eid celebration. As a mother, I expect and hope that honorable Prime Minister would take due initiatives to bring Barrister Arman back to his family considering our serious helpless situation.

Finally, I am again urging the honorable Prime Minister to find out Barrister Mir Ahmad Bin Quasem Arman and to bring him back to me immediately.”
