Acting Ameer greets the countrymen on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr
Monday, 04 July 2016
Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following message of greetings on 4th July, 2016 on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr.

“Ramadan is the holy month, when the holy book Quran has been revealed. Almighty Allah has blessed the humanity with the Quran for the salvation, happiness and welfare of the mankind. Ramadan is the unique gift for the humanity from their creator Allah (swat). Through this month, Almighty Allah wants to purify human mind in order to make him ready for absolute surrender before Allah only. The society which is blessed with such noble virtue is the only guarantee for establishing a progressive, peaceful welfare state. Our holy Prophet (peace be upon Him) endorsed welfare state in Madina is the best example of the aforesaid claim. As such a welfare state can guarantee justice and protection for all people irrespective of their religion, casts and gender.

It has become a mandatory to make Bangladesh such a welfare state in order to free the countrymen from the prevailing chaotic social disorder, political anarchy and most of all from the ongoing suffocating situation.

Let us celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr this time with a strong determination and desire to establish a peaceful society and a humanitarian welfare state. May Allah bless us with His special blessings to remove all sorts of troubles and predicaments from the country; this is our humble prayer before our Creator, the Almighty.

I am personally and also on behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami praying for the peace and progress of the countrymen and extending greetings to my fellow citizens on the occasion of ensuing Eid-ul-Fitr.”
