Dr. Qari Shaikh Muhammad Aiyub, the Imam of Masjid-e-Nababi dies; Acting Ameer condoles

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following statement on 17th April, 2016 expressing deep condolence over the death of honorable Imam of the holy mosque of Masjid-e-Nababi in Saudi Arabia and renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Qari Shaikh Muhammad Aiyub.
 
In the message of condolence, Acting Ameer said, the Muslim Ummah has lost an eminent religious leader at the death of honorable Imam of the holy mosque of Masjid-e-Nababi in Saudi Arabia Dr. Qari Shaikh Muhammad Aiyub. It is great loss for the Muslim Ummah.
 
The recitations of the holy Quran by the sweet and attractive voice of Dr. Qari Shaikh Muhammad Aiyub have spellbound the Muslims all over the world. He was a Professor of the Madina University. Besides, he also performed some official responsibilities of the state. He was a member of the Quran Printing Project founded by King Fahad.
 
May Allah accept all his noble and good deeds to bless him with Jannah. I am extending my deep sympathy to his mournful family, relatives and well wishers. May Allah bless them with Sabar to overcome the shock of losing this great personality.”
