Former Jamaat MP Riasat Ali dies; Acting Ameer condoles News of Condolence

Central Majlish-e-Shura member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and two times elected Member of Parliament from Satkhira’s Ashashuni constituency Principal M Riasat Ali (84) has died at his own house due to some old age complications. Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun. He has left 3 sons, 5 daughters and many relatives and well wishers. The funeral of M Riasat Ali will be held on 11th March at Satkhira’s Ashashuni area and later he will be buried at his family graveyard.

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following statement on 10th March expressing deep shock and condolence over the death of Central Majlish-e-Shura member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and two times elected Member of Parliament from Satkhira’s Ashashuni constituency Principal M Riasat Ali.

In the message of condolence, Acting Ameer stated that M Riasat Ali was a popular leader. He was also a friend to the people. The late Riasat Ali has made outstanding contribution in the development of Satkhira’s Ashashuni. He also played pivotal role in the democratic movement of the country.

May Allah accept all his noble deeds to bless him with Jannah. Acting Ameer also extended his deep sympathy to the family of the deceased and prayed to Almighty Allah so that they can overcome the shock of losing their adorable guardian.
