Acting Ameer congratulates Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Davutoglu and Turkish people on the occasion of AK Party’s great victory in Turkey

In the Parliament election held in Turkey on 1st November, the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) has secured 316 constituencies out of the 550 seats of the Parliament. In this backdrop, Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following statement on 2nd November, 2015 congratulating and hailing the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the leader of the AKP Ahmet Davutoglu and the people of Turkey.
“The ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) has secured 316 constituencies out of the 550 seats of the Parliament in the latest parliament election held on 1st November. I am cordially congratulating and hailing the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the leader of the AKP Ahmet Davutoglu and the people of Turkey as the Turkish people elected AKP for 4 consecutive terms in the Parliament election with outright majority. This victory of Justice and Development Party is actually the victory of democracy and the Turkish people.
I hope that Turkey will go ahead further towards progress and prosperity under the guardianship and direction of Turkish President and the popular leader of the Muslim world Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Turkish government would play more active role in establishing peace in the Middle East and other parts of the world. I further expect that the friendly ties between Bangladesh and Turkey would be strengthening further in the days to come.
I am cordially wishing long life and sound health of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the leader of the AKP Ahmet Davutoglu and praying to Almighty Allah seeking His blessings, so that the leaders of Turkey can perform the duties and responsibilities successfully.”
