Sunday, 13 December 2015
Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following statement on 13th December,  2015 urging to observe \'Arabic month of Rabiul Awal\' in which our holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (peace be upon Him) born and died, with due significance and religious sentiment by holding prayer program, seminar and symposium.    The Rabiul Awal month is the Arabic month in which, the holy prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad (peace be upon Him) born and died. Almighty Allah has sent our Prophet (peace be upon Him) as the last Prophet with the direction and guidelines for the mankind. The holy Quran has been bestowed upon the Prophet (peace be upon Him) as the written instructions for humanity. Our prophet (peace be upon Him) has applied the holy Quran throughout his life. Almighty Allah also says in the holy Quran that \"Holy Prophet\'s life is the best model and example for you to follow\".   Our holy Prophet  is recognized best ever human being of all time. The living style which he has demonstrated, is the best way to resolve all the crisis of humanity. The Prophet formed a state and society for welfare and mankind. If anyone wants to follow the Prophet completely, he has to know the Quran and his life through Hadith. This Rabiul Awal month can be used to know and assess the holy Prophet of Islam.   In this backdrop, I am urging all my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters, particularly the leaders, activists, supporters and well wishers of Jamaat-e-Islami, to read more and more sirat books (books written on the life of the Prophet), and to hold Siratunnabi mahfil, discussion program,  seminar, symposium and to read and write articles on holy Prophet in order to attain maximum benefit from this extremely significant month of Rabiul Awal.\"
