Hearing as to framing charge against Abdul Kader Mullah was not held on yesterday

Hearing as to framing charge relating to accusation of crimes against humanity committed during 1971brought by the prosecution against the Assistant Secreatary General of Jamaat-e-Islami, Abdul Kader Mullah was not held on yesterday. The Concerned Prosecutor Mohammad Ali could not attend in the court because of the illness of his wife and such information has been given by Prosecutor Nurjahan Mukta to the Tribunal -2 at noon of yesterday. That is why she applied for adjourning the hearing. Tribunal-2 presided over by Jsitice Fazle Kabir fixed May 7 for next hearing. Abdul Kader Mullah suffering from Diabetes and open heart surgery was brought in the tribunal-2 from Gazipur Kashimpur jail to Dhaka in the morning of yesterday notwithstanding the hearing as to framing of charge was not held. After the decision of the tribunal as not holding hearing, he was again remanded to the Kashimpur Jail by the prison van in the afternoon of yesterday.
