Strong condemn and protest from Jamaat acting Amir for illegally arresting Central Working Committee member Abdur Rob

Acting Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Mr. Maqbool Ahmad has issued a statement on 28 November, expressing strong protest and condemn for arresting Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Committee member and director of Comilla region, Mr. Abdur Rob this day afternoon from his home in Dhaka. The law-enforcers arrested him unfairly and unlawfully. He said in this statement \"The government is conducting conspiracy to do leaderless of Jamaat as arresting Mr. Abdur Rob is part of this plot.
The government has been unfairly arrested and torture on Jamaat-Shibir activists. The government are trying to stay in power continue to steam roller by oppression and repression against the people. The government\'s one-party authoritarian nature is to be published very openly by the torture on opposition leaders and the public. Ever been arrested opposition leaders and to be tortured, the tyranny system cannot be prolonged. Repressive regime will be vanished by the people\'s movements. Continue to torture on the people of this government will not survive. I urge the people of the country to protest against the persecution of the government.
“I urge the relevant authorities, for stopping arrested and tortured of Jamaat and Shibir across the country including Mr. Abdur Rob, to provide for the immediate release of the arrested leaders and activists.”
