Acting Ameer expresses condolence at the massive casualties in a gas cylinder accident in central India

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following statement on 13th September, 2015 expressing deep condolence as 104 people have been killed and 60 more people became severely injured at a Indian restaurant in the town of Petlawad in Madhya Pradesh state on 12th September, Saturday when a cooking gas cylinder exploded.
“This tragic accident killed 104 people and injured 60 others. Besides, the adjacent buildings became highly damaged. I am expressing my deep shock and condolence at this incident. I am also extending my sympathy and empathy to the victim families, their relatives and to the people and the government of India. I hope and believe the victims and the people of India and its government would be able to overcome this irreparable loss with due patience and tolerance.”
