Saturday, 12 September 2015
Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following statement on 12th September, 2015 expressing deep shock and condolence as 107 pilgrims  killed and around 250 pilgrims became wounded as a construction crane has been collapsed due to torrential rain and sandstorms on Friday night at Baitul Haram mosque in the holy city of Mecca.

The pilgrims are the honorable guest of Almighty Allah. I am expressing deep shock over the death of these prestigious personalities and praying so that they would be blessed with holy Jannah. I am also extending sympathy to the victim families, their relatives, the people and the government of Saudi Arabia on these tragic deaths. I am also praying seeking quickest recovery of the injured pilgrims so that they can perform and complete all the rituals and formalities of the upcoming Hajj properly.
