Acting Ameer urges United Nations to take effective measures to stop Israeli aggression against the Palestinians
Sunday, 18 October 2015
Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following statement on 17th October, 2015 expressing deep concern over the increasing violence and turmoil between the Palestinians and the Israeli soldiers in which he recommended that the United Nations must take immediate and stern actions to stop the violence between the Israeli occupying soldiers and the general Palestinians. Massive clash broke out at the West Bank and Gaza on last Friday between the Israeli soldiers and the Palestinian demonstrators. Israeli soldier’s indiscriminate firing killed 4 Palestinians instantly. 32 Palestinian citizens have been killed in the violence of last couple of days. Still a tensed situation is prevailing over there. General Palestinian’s sufferings know no bounds due to reckless and unjustified blockade of the Israeli soldiers. In this backdrop, I am calling upon the international communities and all human rights organizations including the United Nations to take immediate effective steps to stop repression and unjust crackdown and genocide against the Palestinians.”
