Acting Ameer expresses condolences over the massive earthquake casualties

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following statement on 25th April, 2015 expressing deep condolence over the massive casualties in the massive earthquake that hit Nepal, India and Nepal today.
“I am expressing deep shock and condolence over the massive casualties in the massive earthquake that hit Nepal, India and Nepal this noon. 4 people have killed and more 150 got injured in Bangladesh due to this earthquake. I am expressing deep gratitude to Almighty Allah as our beloved nation has been protected from probable casualties.
30 people also killed in India and huge amount of properties have been destroyed over there. Nepal is the most effected nation of this earthquake. More than 800 people have been killed only in Nepal. Besides, hundreds of people became injured and huge amount of properties have been completely damaged due to this natural disaster. The entire Nepal has turned into debris. I am extending my deep sympathy and condolence to the victim families, people and the government of Nepal and the injured victims. Besides, I am wishing for the swift recovery of the injured victims.
I hope and believe that the government and the people of Nepal of will be able to recover the massive damages and casualties of this earthquake.”
