Acting Ameer condoles over the trawler capsize incident in Bhola that left 10 passengers killed

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following statement on 1th June, 2015 expressing deep concern over the trawler capsize incident took place in Monpura of Bhola during a massive storm in the Meghna river which left 10 passengers killed, 25 injured and 15 still missing.
“I am expressing deep shock and condolence over the trawler capsize incident took place in Monpura of Bhola during a massive storm in the Meghna river which left 10 passengers killed, 25 injured and 15 still missing. This mishap took place as the trawler started transportation with loaded passengers denying the weather forecast. I am urging the water transportation authority to undertake strong measures so that no vehicle can move during such rough weather in future.
I hope the concerned authorities would make a proper investigation into the the trawler capsize incident took place in Monpura of Bhola during a massive storm in the Meghna river. I am also expecting that the government would provide due compensations to the trawler capsize incident victims.
Finally, I am praying seeking salvation for the departed soul and also for the victim families so that they can overcome the shock of this terrible loss.”
