Acting Ameer urges people to offer prayer for the release of Muhammad Kamaruzzaman
Friday, 10 April 2015
Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following statement on 10th April, 2015 urging the local and the expatriates to continue their prayer to Almighty Allah seeking the release and salvation of the Almighty Allah for the release of the senior Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, renowned journalist and columnist and popular leader Muhammad Kamaruzzaman.
“The government is planning to kill senior Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, renowned journalist and columnist and popular leader Muhammad Kamaruzzaman. He has become the worst victim of the government’s political repression. The government has kept him behind the bar for 5 years inhumanly and unlawfully. Despite the call of the international forums and quarters, the government denied his release repeatedly.
I am urging the local and the expatriates particularly who are living in the holy city of Makkah and Madina to continue their prayer to Almighty Allah seeking the release and salvation of the Almighty Allah for the release of the senior Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, renowned journalist and columnist and popular leader Muhammad Kamaruzzaman.
