Abdul Wahed dies; Acting Ameer condoles

Former Kushtia district Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, former lawmaker and Assistant regional director of the party Abdul Wahed died of cardiac arrest this dawn. He was 63. He left his wife, two sons, 4 daughters and many other relatives. Following the Namaj-e-Janana (funeral prayer) at the Kushtia district central Eidgah ground, he was buried at the Kushtia municipality graveyard.
Message of Condolence

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following statement on 22nd March, 2015 expressing deep shock and condolence over the death of Former Kushtia district Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, former lawmaker and Assistant regional director of the party Abdul Wahed.
In the message of condolence, Acting Ameer says that, late Abdul Wahed was a dedicated and sincere leader of the Islamic movement and has been working throughout his life to establish the rule and doctrine of the Almighty Allah on this land. He had served the people of his locality after being elected Member of Parliament in 1986. He also played a significant role in the anti-autocratic movement. May Allah accept all his noble deeds to bless him with Jannah.
Acting Ameer also extended his deep sympathy to the family of the deceased and prayed to Almighty Allah so that they can tolerate the shock of this irreparable loss.
