Arafat Rahman, youngest son of Begum Khaleda Zia dies; Jamaat-e-Islami expresses deep condolences over his death

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Maqbul Ahmed and its Acting Secretary General Dr. Shafiqur Rahman have issued the following joint statement on 24th January, 2015 expressing deep shock and condolence over the sudden Arafat Rahman Koko, the youngest son of the leader of the 20 party alliances, BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
“We are expressing our deep shock and condolence over the sudden Arafat Rahman Koko, the youngest son of the leader of the 20 party alliances, BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. The news of his death creates a mournful atmosphere everywhere in Bangladesh.
May Allah accept all his noble deeds to bless him with holy Jannah. We are extending our deep sympathy and cordial emotion to Begum Khaleda Zia and her families and relatives. We are also praying to Almighty Allah seeking blessings for Begum Khaleda Zia so that she can tolerate the grave shock of this irreparable loss, the demise of her beloved son.”
