King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia dies; Acting Ameer condoles

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Maqbul Ahmed has issued the following statement on 23rd January, 2015 expressing grave shock and condolence over the death of King of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.
“I am expressing my deep shock and condolence over the death of King of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz. The people of Bangladesh are in deep mourn at his death. The Muslim Ummah has lost a prominent leader and their guardian at this demise. King Abdullah has played a pivotal role to resolve various crisis of the Muslim world and worked relentlessly for the peace, progress and stability of the region. He has also contributed significantly to bolster the bilateral relation between Bangladesh and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and assisted Bangladesh in many ways.
I am praying to Almighty Allah to bless him with holy Jannah. I am also extending deep sympathy to the newly appointed King of Saudi Arabia Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and the royal family. May Almighty Allah protect them and the holy Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and bless them all to tolerate the shock of this irreparable loss.”
