Maulana Abdus Subhan’s charge acceptance order Sep 19

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 fixed September 19 for passing the order whether it would take into cognizance the charges against Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer, veteran religious scholar and former lawmaker Maulana Abdus Subhan (84).

ICT-1 led by Justice ATM Fazle Kabir passed the order Monday (16th September, 2013).

Earlier On Sunday, prosecution submitted formal charge against Maulana Abdus Subhan bringing allegations of genocide, murder, torture, arson, abduction, loot, confinement and conspiracy in 1971.

On September 20 in 2012, Maulana Abdus Subhan was arrested following a warrant issued against him by a Pabna district court.
Later, he was shown arrested in the case of committing crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971.
