Appeal’s hearing against Jamaat-e-Islami assistant secretary general Abdul Quader Molla is going on. Arguments of defense has presented in the incident of killing of Alubadi in Mirpur for the allegation no. 5made by Prosecution. Main counsel of Defense team Barrister Abdur Razzak presented arguments. Tribunal sentenced Quader molla to life in the incident of killing of Alubadi in Mirpur. The contradiction statement of Prosecution’s witnesses has been expressed in hearing. Advocate Shishir Mohammad Monir helps Barrister Abdur Razzak at the hearing. It has been said in the Tribunal’s verdict according to 5 no. complaint that in 1971 24 April Abdul Kader Mollah with Pakistan Army attacked on innocent people of Mirpur pallabir Alubadi village. They killed 344 civilians’ people. The allegation of crimes against humanity against Abdul Kader Mollah was charged because of doing assistance of the massacres. Prosecution appeared two witnesses of the charges. They are-6 no. witness is Safiuddin Mullah and 96 no. witness is Amir Hossain Mollah. They claimed they saw the genocide. Barrister Abdur Razzak read their deposition at the court. After some data picked up from the verdict. Barrister Abdur Razzak told 6 no. witnesses Safiuddin knew Qwuader Mullah in 1970. His claim is that Abdul Kader Mollah act for Golam Azam in election. On the other hand witness act for Awami League candidate Advocate Zahir Uddin Jalal as a worker. Barrister Abdur Razzak asked the witness that you told the investigation officer about knowing Abdul Kader molla. He answered yes. But investigation officer told no, he did not tell. Witness is asked that was his candidate Bengali or non-Bengali. He could not give answer. Witness Safiuddin Mullah was said he saw Abdul Kader Mollah in the time incident in 1971 24 April standing with rifle and he himself shoot. But investigation officer said no, he did not tell when investigation officer is asked. The witness said more he witnessed the events from bush in a hole 4 feet. In the time of Fajr Azan. Advocate Farid Uddin Khan, Advocate masiula Alam, Advocate Giyas Uddin Mithun, Golam Rahman Bhuiyan, Advocate Main Uddina Faruki, Advocate Sajjad Ali Chowdhury were present at the hearing on behalf of Abdul Kader Mollah and Attorney General Mahbub-e- Alam and Additional Attorney General MK Rahman were present at the hearing.
