Economist report: the neutrality of tribunal is questionable: judicial process has been politicized.
Sunday, 27 January 2013
Influential British Journal Economist has remarked that there is a
dispute with first decision of the case of war crimes. The Economist
says that judicial process has been politicized by Sheikh Hasina to
target her opponent Khaleda Zia\'s political partners. A question
arises with neutrality of court. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad is given
verdict of execution in the first verdict of the war crimes tribunal
on 21 January. But he is in decamping. It is said published in
Economist report and on  January26, it is impossible for Khaleda Zia
to maintain distance from jamaat to win in the election. But the top
leader of jamaat-E- Islami can be hanged before celebrating election
in the last point of running year. It is said in the report that
Sheikh Hasina expected that she will able to come in power to make
poisonous the people’s mind in the incident of 1971. It is said in the
report that it is being seen as a victory of Sheikh Hasina about the
verdict of popular presenter of Islamic program Maulana Abul Kalam
Azad. The important issues of Awami league Government is this
tribunal. Economist says about the neutrality of tribunal and
expresses a report last month with Skype and E-Mail scandal. Then the
justice resigned. Note that various mass media including BBC, AFP, and
world famous   BBC World Service expresses report by commenting it as
a doubtful. New York-based Human Rights Organization, Human Rights
Watch said, there is a question about the trial of War Crimes. Court
is not following international standards.
