নবী করিম (ﷺ)-এর বিরুদ্ধে কটুক্তির প্রতিবাদে ভারতের মুসলমানরা কর্মসূচি পালন করার মাধ্যমে তারা তাদের নৈতিক ও ধর্মীয় দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন। এটি তাদের অধিকার ও দায়িত্বও বটে।
আমরা গভীর বেদনার সাথে লক্ষ্য করছি, ভারতের কোথাও কোথাও এই প্রতিবাদকে কেন্দ্র করে মুসলমানদের সাথে অত্যন্ত নিষ্ঠুর আচরণ করা হচ্ছে। এমনকি কোথাও কোথাও বুলডোজার দিয়ে মুসলমানদের ঘড়-বাড়ি মাটির সাথে গুড়িয়ে দিয়ে পাশবিক উল্লাস করা হচ্ছে। যা ধর্মীয় অধিকার ও মানবাধিকারের চরম লঙ্ঘন। অথচ এ কাজটি রাষ্ট্রীয় পৃষ্ঠপোষকতায় সম্পন্ন হচ্ছে।
নিন্দনীয় এ আচরণ অবিলম্বে বন্ধ করার জন্য আমরা সংশ্লিষ্টদের প্রতি আহবান জানাচ্ছি।
The Muslims are discharging their moral and religious duties by staging protest programs against the derogatory remarks against Holy Prophet (pbuH). This is their rights and obligations too.
But we are observing with great sorrow that, centering these protest programs, brutal tortures and repressions are being carried out in some places of India to subdue the Muslim voices. Even the houses and other Muslim establishments are being demolished by using bulldozers. It is clear violation of religious and human rights. But these ill-deeds are going on under state patronization.
We are urging the concerned authorities to stop such condemnable activities immediately.
