সম্প্রতি বাংলাদেশে পবিত্র কুরআন অবমাননাকে কেন্দ্র করে দেশের বিভিন্ন জায়গায় অনাকাংখিত ও নিন্দনীয় যেসব ঘটনা ঘটেছে ইতিমধ্যে আমরা তার প্রতিবাদ ও নিন্দা জানিয়েছি।
হিন্দুস্তান টাইমস ও ইকোনোমিকস টাইমস ঘটনাগুলোর সাথে জামায়াতে ইসলামী ও ইসলামী ছাত্রশিবিরের যোগসূত্র আবিষ্কারের চেষ্টা করেছে। আমি তার তীব্র নিন্দা ও প্রতিবাদ জানাচ্ছি। এই রিপোর্ট একান্তই ন্যায়ভ্রষ্ট, অসত্য, উদ্দেশ্যপ্রণোদিত এবং বিশেষ মহলকে সুবিধা দেয়ার স্বার্থে করা হয়েছে।
আমরা দৃঢ়তার সাথে বলতে চাই, যে মহলকে বাঁচানোর জন্য তাদের এই রিপোর্ট, অতীতের সবগুলো ঘটনার সাথে তারা সরাসরি জড়িত ছিলো। ভুক্তভোগী ও বাংলাদেশের জনগণ তার জীবন্ত স্বাক্ষী। নিরপেক্ষ দৃষ্টিতে দেখলে তারাও এর ব্যতিক্রম পাবেন না।
আশা করি ভবিষ্যতে তারা এ ধরনের মিথ্যা রিপোর্টের মাধ্যমে উস্কানিমূলক কর্মকান্ড থেকে বিরত থাকবেন।
Recently, centering the derogatory incident of the holy Quran in Bangladesh, several unwanted and condemnable events took place in various parts of the country. Already, we have protested and condemned those incidents.
Hindustan Times and Economic Times have tried to find out nexus of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatrashibir with those incidents. I am vehemently condemning their efforts. These reports are highly perverse, false, intentional and motivated and the reports have been published to favor a vested quarter.
We want to assert that, whom they are trying to protect, their direct involvement with similar incidents took place in past already been proved. The victims and the fellow countrymen of Bangladesh are the true witnesses of their heinous activities. Even they would agree with such reality if they could analyze the past fairly.
We hope that, they would be refrained from publishing such false news and provocative activities in future.
