আফগানিস্তানে মানবিক বিপর্যয় ঘটতে পারে বলে জাতিসংঘ হুশিয়ারি উচ্চারণ করেছে। তারা বলেছে, তীব্র খাদ্য সংকট, বাস্তুচ্যুতি ও স্বাস্থ্য ব্যবস্থা বিধ্বস্ত হওয়ার ফলে আফগানিস্তানে ভয়ংকর মানবিক সংকট দেখা দিতে পারে। এ অবস্থায় এখনই বিশ্ব সম্প্রদায়কে এগিয়ে আসতে হবে।
জানার বিষয়, খাদ্য সংকট, বাস্তুচ্যুতি ও স্বাস্থ্য ব্যবস্থার এই করুণ অবস্থা কি অতি সম্প্রতি সৃষ্টি হয়েছে?
গত ২০ বছর তাহলে আফগানিস্তানে এসব কিছুই হয়নি? বহুপাক্ষিক আক্রমণে লাখো মানুষ বোমা আর গুলির আঘাতে দুনিয়া থেকে বিদায় নেয়নি? এমনকি কখনো কখনো সামাজিক অনুষ্ঠানে বোমার আঘাতে অসংখ্য জীবন ঝরে পড়েছে। তাও কিন্তু ইতিহাসের বাস্তবতা।
সন্ত্রাস দমন আর সুশাসন কায়েমের আশ্বাস দিয়ে বিশ্বের অনেক শক্তিশালী দেশ পুরো ২০ বছর জুড়ে আফগানিস্তান নিয়ন্ত্রণ করেছে। তাদের কোন দায় আছে কিনা? আজ সে আত্নপর্যালোচনার খুবই প্রয়োজন।
যারা আফগানিস্তানে অবস্থানরত বিভিন্ন দেশের সশস্ত্রবাহিনী ও কর্মকর্তাদেরকে আফগান হয়েও সেবা ও সহযোগিতা করেছিলো, আজ ঠিকই সেই বিপুল সংখ্যক মানুষকে আফগানিস্তানে ফেলে রেখে বিদেশিরা তাদের সৈন্যসামন্ত আর লোকজন নিয়ে চলে গেছে।
বিশ্ব যেন আগামীতে আর কোন আফগানিস্তানের বেদনাদায়ক এ দৃশ্য আর না দেখে।
Many things to learn from Afghanistan…
United Nations warned of facing a humanitarian disaster in Afghanistan. They claimed severe humanitarian disasters may be created in Afghanistan due to excessive food crises, massive displacement and the subsequent collapse of the total healthcare management. Under the circumstances, the world community should come forward.
We have to know, whether this critical condition of the food crisis, displacement, and poor healthcare system have been created recently or not?
Did this country not face any such deplorable conditions in the past 20 years? had Millions of people not been killed in bomb blasts and military aggression in the meantime? Even many innocent civilians had been killed due to indiscriminate bomb attack on various social events. This is the real picture of the history.
Several powerful countries have controlled Afghanistan for 20 years in the name of countering terrorism and launching good governance. Do they have any liabilities behind the existing Afghan crisis? Such assessment is essentially required now.
Being the people of Afghanistan, who had assisted this multinational security forces and their officials, they have escaped from Afghanistan along with their forces and people leaving millions of Afghans as unprotected.
May this world have not to observe such a painful reality like Afghanistan.
