Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 3 January, 2021 expressing deep concern as 7 people killed in a deadly collision between bus and CNG in Tarakanda Upazila of Mymensingh distinct.

A bus collided with a CNG on Mymensingh-Netrokona highway in Gachtola area of Tarakanda upazila of Mymensingh distinct which left 3 men, 3 women and a child killed. We are extending deep condolence at the incident and praying for the salvation of the deceased souls. May Allah bless them all with paradise. I am also extending sympathies to the mournful families.

Finalising i am urging the concerned authorities to investigate into the accident and to take stern measures against the involved personnel. I am also asking the authorities to pay due compensation to the victim families.
