Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former member of the Parliament Professor Mia Golam Porwar has issued the following message of condolence on 18 July 2020 at the death of former MP of Khulna-3 constituency and former whip of the National Parliament Md. Ashraf Hossain.
Mr. Ashraf Hossain died in capital’s United Hospital on 17th July at the age of 80. He was elected MP from his constituency for 6 times. He was distinguished labor leader of Khulna district. As a parliament member and veteran labor leader, he has conducted massive development activities in Khulna. He also served the helpless and distress community broadly. People of Khulna will remember him always for his numerous contributions and services.
I am expressing deep shock at his death and extending sympathy to his mournful family, relatives, political associates and well-wishers.
