Jamaat has no connection with any terrorist attack incidents

Hamidur Rahman Azad rejects the false report of Daily Manab Zamin

Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former member of the Parliament Hamidur Rahman Azad has issued the following statement on 26th March, 2017 protesting and gainsaying the false and baseless information of the report titled ‘জাতীয় সংসদ ভবন ঘিরে নজিরবিহীন নিরাপত্তা’  ‘Unprecedented security centring the National Parliament Building’ published in Bengali daily ‘Manab Zamin’ which claimed quoting the remark of the deputy speaker Fazle Rabbi Mia in which he stated that the incident which have taken place in the airport area is an effort to create panic among the foreign guests.

“We are highly surprised to see the report of Daily Manab Zamin which published some false information quoting the remark of the deputy speaker Fazle Rabbi Mia. No question can be raised of having any relation or nexus of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatrashibir with the terrorist’s attack incidents in the airport or anywhere in the country.

We even do not know whether the deputy speaker Fazle Rabbi Mia has really delivered any such remark or not. Without any evidence, he can’t make such a concocted comment implicating Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatrashibir.

If he really made any such comment implicating Jamaat and Chhatrashibir, would be unfortunate. It is not acceptable anyway, if he blames two big organizations like Jamaat and Chhatrashibir without any proof. I am vehemently protesting such comment of the deputy speaker. I am urging to think once again whether such comment is an ill effort to conceal the real criminals.”
